We are Ali and Fred, the founders and guides behind PORTUGALEBIKES.

Passionate nature lovers with a love for cycling, hiking, and running, we created PORTUGALEBIKES five years ago with one simple goal: to share the very best of Portugal with you.

From its rich culture and breathtaking landscapes to its traditions, hidden gems, and authentic local charm, we want to help you experience Portugal in a truly memorable way.

After more than 15 years living along Portugal’s stunning west coast, we decided three years ago to make Lagos our home — drawn by the incredible beauty, sunshine, and unique spirit of the Algarve.

Today, we are delighted to welcome you and take you on an unforgettable journey through our beautiful city and coastline, where nature, culture, and adventure come together in perfect harmony.
